  1. This policy explains what personal data sketch.fashion collects and how it is used. sketch.fashion, based in London, United Kingdom, is the data controller. Contact: [email protected].
  2. Account data: your email, name and profile picture from your sign-in (Google or email), and your password if you set one, stored only as a secure hash.
  3. Your content: the files you upload (images, video and audio), your prompts, your boards, the boards you choose to share, the images and videos you generate, and your credit balance and purchase history.
  4. Photos of people. If you upload a photo of yourself or someone else, for example for try-on, it is stored in your space and processed to produce the result you asked for. We don't use it to identify anyone, we don't build face or body profiles, and we don't use it for anything other than your job. You are responsible for having the right to upload it.
  5. Technical data: your IP address and basic request logs, used to keep the service secure and prevent abuse. For signup credits we store a hashed form of the IP address, not the address itself.
  6. We use this data to provide the service you asked for, to keep it secure and to meet legal obligations. We don't sell your data and we don't use it for advertising. We don't use your uploads, boards or results to design anything of our own, we don't show them to anyone, and we don't use them to train models.
  7. Legal bases, where the UK GDPR or the GDPR applies: performing our contract with you (your account, boards, generation and payments); our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure and preventing abuse (technical data); and legal obligations (tax and accounting records).
  8. AI model providers. To produce a result, your prompt and the files you selected for that job are sent to the company that makes the model you chose: currently Google, OpenAI, Midjourney, ByteDance and MiniMax. Requests reach them through an API service that passes them on and processes them only for that purpose. These providers process the data under their own terms and may do so outside your country. Their terms may allow them to keep what they receive for a time and to use it to improve their own models; we cannot control or undo that. Don't put into a job anything that must stay confidential, and don't upload anything you aren't allowed to share with them.
  9. Other service providers who process data for us: Oracle Cloud (hosting and file storage, in the United Kingdom), Cloudflare (network, security and the sign-in check), Resend (sign-in and account emails), Google (if you sign in with Google) and Stripe (payment processing, once paid plans are open).
  10. Where your data is. Our server is in the United Kingdom. Some of the providers named above process data in other countries, including the United States; where the law requires it, those transfers rely on the safeguards the providers offer, such as standard contractual clauses.
  11. Payments are processed by Stripe, our payment processor. You enter your card details on Stripe's pages, and Stripe handles them under its own privacy policy; we never see or store your card number. We keep a record of your payments (plan, amount, date, and Stripe's references for you and for each payment), and we give Stripe your email address to create your customer record there.
  12. We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and remember your language. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
  13. Without an account. If you use the board without an account, nothing you put on it is sent to us: the board and the pictures you add are kept in your browser's storage until you clear it, or until you sign in and import the board into your account. We create no account for you.
  14. Shared boards. A board you share can be viewed, with the pictures on it, by anyone who has its link and is signed in to an account. We ask search engines not to index shared boards. Switching sharing off ends access; a picture already loaded in someone's browser may stay available to them for a few minutes.
  15. We keep your data while your account is open. You can delete files in your Library at any time. Deleting a board removes it. When you ask us to close your account we delete your data within 30 days, except records we must keep by law. Copies held by model providers are kept for the period set in their own policies.
  16. You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, or object to how we use it, by emailing [email protected]. You can also complain to the data protection authority where you live. In the United Kingdom that is the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). If you believe someone uploaded a photo of you without permission, email us and we'll remove it.
  17. sketch.fashion is not meant for children under 16.
  18. Security. Data is encrypted in transit, access is limited to the people who operate the service, and the database is backed up every day. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data we will tell you as the law requires.
  19. We may update this policy. If a change matters, we'll tell you by email or on the site.
